VALLEY FALLS UMC OUTREACH
Red Bird Mission Christmas Shoe Boxes
The Mission team at Endwell United Methodist Church is again coordinating the collection and delivery of shoeboxes for the Red Bird Mission, located in Beverly, Kentucky. The Red Bird Missionary Conference is one of three United Methodist missionary conferences in the United States. It is the most comprehensive mission effort of the United Methodist Church, providing outreach and services that minister to the whole person (spiritual, physical, social, and economic).
Being the hands and feet of God does not stop during a pandemic and the needs of the people of Red Bird Mission continue. Red Bird Mission is the most comprehensive mission effort of the United Methodist Church, providing ministries that are spiritual, physical, social and economic. Last year, volunteers from Endwell UMC delivered over 3,000 shoeboxes.
This year, our goal is to deliver at least 3,600 boxes! Calvary United Methodist Church 15 Ridge Place, Latham, NY has volunteered to be the local collection center. Please place your items in a clear, undecorated shoebox. The box should be labeled for a man, woman, boy, or girl. A suggested donation of $1 per box is suggested.
